As an advocate for domestic
and sexual assault victims in the court system
for close to 10 years, I have so appreciated
Kayley Taber’s dedication to bettering our
community. She is a gifted prosecutor with
a strong commitment to and passion for justice
who holds a unique sensitivity to individuals
and families and the impact of crime on their
lives. She has been an active community partner
working diligently for system improvements,
collaborating with other agencies and educating
law enforcement officers and advocates, judges
and others. Her work on behalf of the children
in our community will be forever felt. Kayley
Taber will make a sound judge with an exceptional
command of the law and a keen ability to
craft sentences that address both accountability
and transformation. The community can feel
assured and comforted knowing she is at the
bench.

Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services
The district court daily handles dozens of the most important cases- those involving children and family matters. Kayley Taber has exhibited the qualities that will make her an exceptional district court judge. Ms. Taber prosecuted hundreds of cases in my court over the course of six years. Without exception, she was always considerate and respectful of both the court and of every person in the courtroom, including those she was prosecuting. Kayley demonstrated a strong sense of justice and exhibited a unique ability to evaluate the facts of each case, among the dozens she saw each day, and make a sound judgment as to how each case should be handled. An outstanding prosecutor, Kayley Taber will make an outstanding district court judge.
